Historically the Adult Education programs were developed by the Adult Education and Tikkun Olam Committees in collaboration with the Rabbi. The Rabbi would love to restart the Adult Education Committee if there is interest among our congregants. Our Tikkun Olam Committee has merged into a Beit-Shalom-wide Chai Impact team, which is always open to new membership.
Over the past few years some of our adult education programs have included “Exploring Judaism,” Hebrew Classes, B’nei Mitzvah preparation for adults, and a biweekly Israel discussion group. The Rabbi also participates in community interfaith education programs.
We are always interested in new topics, so if you are young or old or somewhere in-between and you have some fresh ideas about topics you would like to explore, or even teach, please contact Rabbi Linda or the Temple Office to share your ideas.
