Adult Education

Historically the Adult Education programs have been developed by the Adult Education and Tikkun Olam Committees in collaboration with the Rabbi. The Adult Education programs are generally led by our Rabbi with input from members of the Board of Trustees and congregants.

Over the past few years some of these programs have included: Judaism 101, Judaism and Ethics, Beginning Hebrew Classes, B’Nei Mitzvah Classes for Adults and the differences between Judaism and Christianity. The Tikkun Olam Committee has sponsored programs such as Bridges of Faith and Interfaith Dialogues (learning about the similarities and differences of Judaism, Islam, Christianity, Catholicism, Buddhism and Hinduism).

We are always interested in new topics, so if you are young or old or somewhere in-between and you have some fresh ideas about topics you would like to explore, please contact Rabbi Linda or the Temple Office  to get in touch with someone from one of our committees.
