Worship

Prayer is a language that each of us speaks, hears and welcomes in different ways. When we pray together as a Jewish community, we try to find meaning within the chorus of diverse voices. Whether it is the prayers themselves, reading from the Torah weekly, the Rabbi’s sermons or the beautiful music, we strive to share our faith and rich traditions and history with all those in attendance.

Through a wide range of truly meaningful spiritual experiences, we offer something for everyone, including Weekly Friday Night Shabbat Services, Saturday Morning Torah Study, Tot Shabbat, Shabbat Chaverim Services and Dinners, Musical Shabbats, Sukkot on the Porch Services, and Family and Children-led Services.

Our services are fully egalitarian (men and women participate equally). We believe we have found a healthy balance between the traditional and the creative. Services are a generous mix of Hebrew and English with lots of traditional rituals. We use both traditional and contemporary melodies. We hope you will find our services enriching, enjoyable and a great way to make new friends.

Don’t want to come alone?  No problem.  Please contact the Temple Office at office@qctemple.org to confirm the date and time for the next service of your choice and we will be happy to have someone greet you and be your host.
